Welcome to ya•kya•daqi• and Me, a culturally immersive program thoughtfully crafted to unite Makah parents and their infants (up to 5 years old) in a nurturing and educational journey steeped in Makah traditions of parenting and childbirth. Our program is dedicated to offering a safe and supportive space for participants to connect, learn, and joyfully celebrate their cultural heritage.

Join us as we prepare for ƛ̓a•qšiƛ (Spring) with the Brown Bear book, learning Makah animal and color words, and spotting the first signs of ƛ̓a•qšiƛ - like the skunk cabbage's yellow flower, a bear's best friend!
